I HAVE LOST 5 PERSIANS TO THIS IN THE PAST FEW YEARS.

Hear our prayer, Lord, for all animals,
May they be well-fed and well-trained and happy;
Protect them from hunger and fear and suffering;
And, we pray, protect specially, dear Lord,
The little cat who is the companion of our home,
Keep him safe as he goes abroad,
And bring him back to comfort us.

we give you back your child.
Noble, regal, honorable cat.
Watch over him, and guide him on his way
to the spirit world.
May he be blessed in your names,
and hunt ever after beside you.

You're free to go now, Little One,
Rejoice and play - the time has come
For your spirit to be on its way.
Have fun, be happy - your love will stay!
